The environment around us is called nature. It is not a man made thing. It's formed naturally. Everyone knows that nature consists of air, soil, water, fauna, flora etc. Water can be divided into two sections. They are surface water and underground water. Rivers, lakes, ponds, streams can take into the surface water category and tube wells, springs can take into the underground water category. Rain gives us water. There are so many uses of water. For drink, transport, recreation, domestic uses, agricultural purposes, production of hydro power etc.. are some of them. Due to various human activities water resources get polluted nowadays.
The other names for the flora and fauna are plants and animals. There are places where plants can grow well and in marshy lands they don't grow. The animals and plants add beauty as well as a value to the environment by making the earth a pleasant place to live. When we are talking about the air Nitrogen, Oxygen and Carbon dioxide are the compliments of it. We need air to live. Not only for us all the fauna and flora need air to survive. Though a living being can live without food or water for several days, it will die in a few minutes without air.
Because of the careless activities of human beings nowadays the whole world faces so many problems. So air pollution, sound pollution, water pollution, land pollution and sound pollution rise up very quickly day-by-day. In nature all these actions are like a chain. Nature isn't pristine and we are bound to protect it. So this is the time to protect our whole environment. Otherwise we have to suffer a lot because of our careless activities. So let's join hands to protect the planet Earth.
