HAPPY MOMENT

Last year me and my sister planted a small guava plant. Because both of us love to eat guava fruits so much. One day we saw a small plant which was situated outside  of our gate. So we carefully pulled it out and took it home. We searched for a place to plant it. Finally we found a necessary place. We dug a small pit, planted the plant in it. We treated it well. We watered it daily and fertilized it well.

After a few months our plant grew well. One day we saw an amazing thing. It was a flower in the guava tree. Day-by-day guava flowers had bloomed. A few weeks later we saw small guava fruits. We were so happy. We counted days to taste those fruits. Finally we got the first chance to taste them. Yummy! The fruits tasted really good. We were full of joy because they were cultivated from our own garden.

Other than our family members, birds and squirrels still come to taste our guava fruits. While watching their happiness our hearts fill with great pleasure.

 

IT GOT A NEW PLACE 🐈

 

One day Rozan and her friends were coming back to their houses after overing the tution class. Usually they come back to their houses by foot. Some of her friends wanted to buy some sweets. So they entered in of the shop. Rozan stayed outside of the shop with one of her friends. Meanwhile they heard a noise. They listen very carefully. "Oh! I think it's a sound of a kitten" said Rozan. Rozan's friend Ann said "No I don't think so". 

They saw a covered cardboard box next to the dustbin. Rozan wanted to open it. But Ann told Rozan not to open it. However, Rozan opened it. Yeah! Rozan's guess was correct, it was a kitten. When they saw the kitten, they were disgusted with the people who did it. Rozan hugged the kitten and decided to take it home.

When their friends came out of the shop, they were surprised to see a kitten in Rozan's hands. Rozan eagerly went home. When she entered the house, her sister was studying. She went to her and kept the kitten on the table. Her sister was surprised. After telling about the incident, both of them accepted the kitten happily. They cleaned the kitten and fed it. They gave their unconditional love and affection to the kitten. Also they lovingly cared for the kitten.

FIRST SHIVARATRI FESTIVAL THAT I PARTICIPATED

 

I got a special chance to participate in a Hindu religious festival. Our teacher of the dancing class informed us about the Shivaratri festival. Hindus annually celebrate this festival to pay homage to Lord Shiva. We were full of joy to join and have a new experience in the festival. It is our first Shivaratri festival. So we prepared for it about one month ago. Our teacher taught us a Indian classical dance item to perform in the Shivaratri festival.

On the day of the Shivaratri we wore the dance costumes and got ready to participate in the festival. When I entered the Kovil premises, I felt a different feeling. Our teacher also went there with us. In front of the Kovil they had constructed a huge stage for us to do our performances. Also the place was nicely decorated. They had organized the festival in a grand manner. During the evening time they started the function. We also got a special chance to join the Shiva Pooja. They did the Shiva Pooja according to the Hindu Rituals.

After that they gave us the opportunity to do our cultural performances. There were many dance groups from  all around the country. After we performed our item they appreciated our performance very happily. We were very glad to hear such good comments from them. Our teacher was so proud of our performance. After having an unforgettable experience we came back to our houses. After that year we participated in Shivaratri festival several times.

 

IT HELPS ME TO RELAX MY MIND 🎵

 

Art is always attached with human life. Art can change peoples' minds in a positive manner. Also it helps people to develop their knowledge. Actually I think that Art is a place to earn people, not money. Art includes so many categories. Among those categories I like so much to listen to music. Music is a universal language, but apart from that I think that it is also a medicine to anyone's mind.

Since my childhood I have loved to listen to music. It helps me to relax my mind. When I'm stuck with lots of work I love to listen to songs. I heard so many songs in different languages as well. Sometimes it helps me to learn and understand different languages. Listening to music helps me to do creative works while I'm engaging in dancing acts.

Sometimes I listen to songs because of their marvelous melody but sometimes I listen to them because of their lyrics. Some days I listen to classical music as well. If a melody attracts my heart and ear I really love to listen to it very much. Likewise listen to music is my free time habit.

LEGENDARY DANCER SIR CHITHRASENA

 

Today I'm going to write about one of the artists I respect. He did a valuable service to our dance culture. Amarathunga Arachchige Maurice Dias was a traditional dancer in Sri Lanka. Later he dropped his Portuguese influenced name and adopted an oriental name; Chithrasena. His father was the late Seebert Dias, well known actor as well as a  producer. Sir Chithrasena was encouraged by his father from a young age to learn dance and theatre.

When Sir Chithrasena was a schoolboy, he acted the role of "Siri Sangabo", the first Sinhala ballet produced and directed by his father. This young boy presented the role using his Kandyan dance techniques. He got a chance to learn one of the Indian dance styles; Kathakali in India. He is the founder of Chithrasena dance company. Also he got a special chance to lead the main role opposite to Indian famous artist Sir Rabindranath Thagor's grand-daughter in the dance drama "Chandalika".

He produced so many oriental dance dramas. "Rama & Seeta, Vidura, Ravana, Nala Damayanthi, Himakumariya, Sepalika" are some of them. After Sir Chithrasena's death his wife managed the Chithrasena-Vajira dance foundation till today with the help of their daughter and grand-daughter. Sir Chithrasena added a value to our oriental dance field.

PENGUINS' PARADES IN PHILLIP ISLAND

 

Oh! This is a really attractive place to visit. Where is it? So, today I'm going to write about it. This place is situated in Australia. This place is named Phillip Island. I really like this place because of the little Penguins that come to this place. They come to this beach during the day time as well as the night times. They walk in a proud manner on the beach because they know that the people are watching at them.

I heard that people called this place as a home to the largest little Penguin colony in the world. People visit this place to experience the magic of watching these amazing seabirds waddle home from the ocean to their burrows any night of the year.I read about this place from several articles. 

I actually like to see the way these little Penguins' behavior. They stay and live as a group. So they come to this beach as a group. I love to visit this wonderful place to watch and get up close with these little Penguin parades. I'm waiting to see these smallest Penguins lively and also to see the way they leave the water and waddle up the beach to their homes.

ENERGITIC DANCER IN BOLLYWOOD INDUSTRY 💃

 

Today I'm going to write about a Indian actor. He is a bollywood actor and his way of acting attracted the fans all around the world. He is one of the talented actors in Bollywood industry. He is Hrithik Roshan. He is the son of Rakesh Roshan. Hrithik's father is also connected with the film industry. Because of that Hrithik got a special opportunity to join this field since his childhood. He worked as an assistant director on his father's films.

I like the way he acts in films. Also I'm mostly attracted to his dance style. He shows his acting talent as well as dancing skill together in his characters. "Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, Krrish 3, Dhoom 2, Guzaarish, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Agnipath, Bang Bang" are the most famous films of Hrithik which I like to watch those films again and again. He showed his dancing skill in these films. Some of these films are still famous because of his dancing style. 

Also I'm most awaited to watch his new film "War" which he acted with the famous actor Tiger Shroff. It's also an action film by Hrithik. This film also collaborated with his dance acts. So I'm waiting to watch it with great interest. Although he is now 47 years old, his energy in acting is still the same.

NEW FRIEND OF PINKY 😍

 

Pinky is the only child of his family. She spends time very joyfully with her parents. She is a kind as well as an innocent girl. She works hard and gives her full attention to school studies. She helps her classmates to do school work and studies. She plays with her neighbors during the evening times.

It was a rainy day. Therefore Pinky's friends didn't come to play during the evening. So Pinky sat near the door and started to think about what to do now. She felt so bored. So she made paper boats and floated them in the rainy water. All the boats that Pinky made were driven down the garden. She happily looked at them.

Meanwhile, she saw a boat that had stopped under a tree. She wondered why the boat had stopped. Then she saw something brown near the boat. She ran there in the rain. Then she saw a baby squirrel lying on the ground. Pinky was very upset because it was wet. She quickly took it to her home and showed the little squirrel to her mother. Then Pinky's mother took a serviette to wipe the squirrel. In the meantime Pinky went and changed her wet clothes. After a few hours  the squirrel got to normal. She gave milk to the squirrel. It drank milk with great pleasure.

Pinky asked from her mother to keep the little squirrel at home. After her mother said ok she was full of joy.  The little squirrel was familiar to Pinky. The squirrel was right next to Pinky. It likes to stay and play with Pinky. It ran everywhere inside the home. Pinky has had a best friend at home ever since.

PRESENT LEGEND IN KATHAK DANCE

 

As a Kathak dance student today I'm going to write about one of the present legends in India. Pandit Birju Maharaj ji is the present legend of the Maharaj family. He is a Indian dancer. He is a master expert in the North Indian dance form, Kathak. He is a dancer, choreographer as well as a teacher. Also he is the present expert in Lucknow Gharana. 

He learned this dance form from his father Acchan Maharaj ji. After his father's death Birju ji learned from two of his uncles, Lacchu ji and Shambhu ji. An article I read mentioned that Birju ji had been teaching since he was 13 years old. I mostly like the way he performs "Abhinaya" which means facial expressions in Kathak dance. His expressive abhinaya attracts everyone who watches his performances.

He is specially known as a brilliant choreographer, and also he helped to popularize dance-dramas. He worked in so many popular Bollywood films as a senior choreographer. Among them still I'm attracted with the films Devdas, Dedh Ishqiya and Bajirao Mastani which he choreographed. Also he is famous as a Thumri singer.

I like to watch Birju ji's performances which he published on youtube channel. I'm learning lessons by watching his tutorials. Now he is 83 years old. I wish Birju ji the strength and longevity to preserve this art of dance for a long time to come.

ATTRACTIVE BEACH I LOVE TO VISIT 🏖️️

 

Nature consists of so many amazing creations. Sometimes even people can't find how they formed. Actually they are masterpieces which are created by nature. In this post I'm going to write about one of my heart-touched places.

Iceland includes an abundant amount of astonishing as well as eye-catching places. Among them Black Beach is one of my heart-touched places in Iceland that I would like to see and visit. This Black Beach is located on the South Coast of Iceland. People considered this as Black Beach because of its distinctive black sand. Other than that, this beach consists of an attractive rock formation. This rock formation adds an extra eco-attraction to this Black Beach. I have never seen such a beautiful rock formation from anywhere.

I saw this wonderful scenery from pictures and through the internet. After finding details about this place finally I found that it's a place designed by nature. I was really amazed that this place was made by nature. Visitors are very impressed to watch this place and have the experience by visiting lively. I love to visit this place to feel the real beauty of this beach. If I get a chance I'll never miss to play and walk on black sand. Also I like to climb this rocky mountain but I imagine it'll be a very hard experience. I really like to get its adventurous feeling.

ANOTHER NEWCOMER 🐶

 

One day while I'm watching the status of my friends I saw some amazing pictures. One of my friends uploaded some pictures of their newborn pet puppies. They are so cute and adorable. Me and my sister wanted to pet one of them. Me and my sister ran to our parents and told them about puppies. Also we said that we want one of those cuties. At that time our parents refused our request at once. We felt so sad for that.

Day-by-day me and my sister asked about it. Oh! Finally our mother and father said "ok" to bring one of them to our place. We were full of joy. But our parents said that "at least we have to wait one month because the little puppies are newly born, small ones. So they need their mother." After their response both of us counted days very interestingly to bring one of them to our house.

After one month they get a little bit bigger than that we saw from the pictures earlier. So we told our father to ask about a puppy. After our father asked about it from the owners of the puppies, they said "ok" to give a puppy to us. It was the good news that we awaited for. Next day we went to their place. There were six puppies. All are in the same size and fluffy but different in colours. So it's a little bit hard to choose one from them. Among them we selected the black and brown puppy and took him to our house very joyfully. Still we can remember how we felt that and took him.

It was the first experience of both of ours. After returning to the house we kept the basket near our pet Kitty. Puppy sat calmly inside the basket. Kitty slowly, step-by-step went near to the basket and watched very carefully what was inside the basket. Our Kitty was also a little bit confused because he had never seen a puppy earlier. After we took the little puppy out from the basket, he ran everywhere inside our home. Kitty ran and hid behind the cupboard. Because it was a new experience for Kitty too. We named this cute puppy as Bobby. Bobby took a few days to be a friend of our Kitty. Now Bobby is three years old. He is a very playful pet. Also it's a little bit hard to handle their playful fights. We feel so free and happy by spending time with our lovely pets.
