In my leisure times I usually like to watch TV series as a habit. Till today I watched a lot of foreign dramas of different languages. Among them, one of my favourite TV series is "The Last Empress". This is a South Korean TV series. This drama is directed by Joo Dong-Min. I have watched this TV series several times because it's a heartfelt drama.
Here in this post I'm going to write a little about this Korean drama I watched. Oh Ssu-Ni, Lee-Hyuk(Emperor), Na Wang-Sik, Min Yoo-Ra, Empress Dowager(mother), Grand Empress Dowager(grandmother of Emperor) are the main characters of this TV series. Other than these characters there were many special characters.
In this drama Oh Ssu-Ni is a musical actress and later she is married to Emperor Lee-Hyuk. Later, Oh Ssu-Ni came to know about the frauds going on in the palace. Eventually she got to know that these took place at the behest of Empress Dowager. Later Na Wang-Sik came to the palace to take revenge on the Emperor Lee-Hyuk. Because the Emperor is the person who murdered Na Wang-Sik's mother. Later Na Wang-Sik became the bodyguard of the imperial family.
Later Oh Ssu-Ni solved all the problems of Empress Dowager with the help of bodyguard and the Grand Empress Dowager. Finally most of the people in the palace take the side of Oh Ssu-Ni. During this period she faced dangerous incidents which were planned by the Empress Dowager.
In this Korean drama I like the characters of Oh Ssu-Ni and the bodyguard Na Wang-Sik. They are the brave characters of this drama. I like the way that Oh Ssu-Ni faced all the problems. She was very intelligent in solving problems. It's a nice Korean and heart touching drama I watched.
